If you’re a mad freshwater fisherman (woman ☺), then Lake Somerset is perfect for you. The lake stocks Australian Bass, Silver Perch, Golden Perch (Yellowbelly), Saratoga, Mary River Cod, Eel-tailed Catfish, Bony Bream and Red Claw.

Live bait, tackle, reels and a wide range of lures are available from the kiosk, as well as boating and fishing permits. If you’re wanting to come in before 7.30 am, please don’t forget to phone us the day before for an early access code.
